2 Months Old!

Molly turned 2 months old on May 28!
Her 2 month stats:
10 lbs. 6 oz.
22 inches
She is sleeping between 5-8 hours a night. I still hold her some but she is starting to sleep on her own!
We are getting TONS of cute, sweet, girly smiles. I love them!!!
She is also talking a lot too. She is going to be just like her mama!
Molly had her first shots last week and ended up running a fever of 102.6! It scared me to death but she's fine now. I just hope she doesn't do that every time she gets shots.

Here is her 2 month pic.

Molly's Newborn Pictures!

Pictures taken by Allison Duckworth at eleventhirtysix images. She's great!

Mothers Day

This is a little late, but better late than never, right?

I was spoiled on Mother's Day by my wonderful husband, kids, and parents. It was a great day!

These 2 made me a mother. Being a mom is the best, most challenging, most rewarding thing I have ever done. I love Cason and Molly more than words can say. I am proud to be their mom!

Happy Mother's Day to my mom! She is the best mom a girl could ask for. She has taught me how to be a good mom to my children. I love you mommy!

1 Month Old!

Molly is 1 month old today! I doesn't seem like she should be 1 month already! It's going by so fast.

Molly is a good baby! She is pretty easy going unless she gets hungry then she turns into a drama queen. I was going to say that she likes tummy time but as I am typing this she is laying on her tummy crying so maybe she doesn't like it. She does like to sleep on her tummy but I only let her when she is on her play mat. So far she likes baths and she LOVES being held. We pretty much hold her all the time. She will take naps in her swing which is nice but she will not sleep in her crib, cradle, or pack-n-play. That is something we are going to work on this month! Molly will sleep up to six hours at night because I hold her the entire night. I have to say that holding her all night is worth 6 hours of sleep right now!

She is a good eater and is growing like crazy. She left the hospital weighing 6 lbs. 6 oz and is now somewhere around 7 lbs. 9 oz!

Here are some of her firsts this month:
First outing: Yogurt Land (does it count if we got it to go?)
She got her first cold at 3 weeks. How sad :(.
She went to her first wedding
She went to her first church service this past Easter Sunday.
I wish we would have known the first time around that it is SOO much easier to take them places at this age than later!

Speaking of the "first time around", Cason is being such a great big brother to Molly. He asks about her every time I pick him up from Myrna's house and when he see's her in her car seat he has to lean over and touch her head. He also likes to bring Molly her paci's, blankets or whatever else he thinks she needs. When she cries he says, "Molly mad, Molly eat". He's got that right! He also gives her great big brother kisses!

I am truly blessed and proud to be the mommy of both of these children!

Easter Weekend

This weekend we had a great time celebrating our Risen Lord!

We started out by dying Easter eggs!

We went to our church's Easter egg hunt.
(I just love Cason's smile! I have pictures of me at his age smiling that exact same smile!)

At the Easter egg hunt Cason didn't want any pink or purple eggs in his basket. But he picked up one pink egg and gave it to Molly! He is such a great big brother!

After church and naps we went over to my sister's house to hunt more eggs and to eat.
Check out these cute cousins!

Molly Lynn Stunkard

Molly Lynn Stunkard is here! She was born on March 28, 2011 at 1:01 pm. She weighed 6 lbs. 14 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long.

I had a planned repeat c-section. I have to say that this c-section experience was MUCH easier than the last!

The morning that Molly was born we had to take Cason to see his pediatrician before we went to the hospital. He had a cold and I wanted to get it checked out before Molly came. It was a stressful morning but Toby and I made it to the hospital in time!

Here is our last picture as a family of 3!

A few hours later Molly arrives!

A Day Out With Thomas

Today we went to see Thomas the Tank Engine! Cason loves Thomas and pretty much anything trains or "choo-choo's" as he calls them. We went to the Grapevine Railroad to see him. It was a 25 min. train ride pulled by Thomas. There was music and dancing and Cason had a blast! It was kind of a last hurrah before Molly comes on Monday!

Here's Thomas!

The conductor punching Cason's ticket. Cason is usually pretty shy around people he doesn't know but he liked the train conductors!

This is one happy boy!

There were other things to do, including a petting zoo. Cason is petting the tiniest pig I have ever seen.
