Christmas Part 2 (Molly's First Christmas) (( Lubbock Christmas))

On the 23rd we packed up and headed to Lubbock to have Christmas with Toby's family. We had so much fun and it felt good to get away for a little while. It also snowed the first 2 days we were there! We had a White Christmas and Molly saw her first snow. Cason got to build a snowman after talking about it for days when he found out it might snow. Santa found us in Lubbock and brought Cason a big fire truck and Molly a super cute owl pillow. Cason and I made a birthday cake for Jesus and we celebrated HIS birthday.

Christmas Part 1 (Molly's First Christmas) ((Family Christmas))

This was our year to go to Lubbock for Christmas. Even though we have a new roomier car we decided it would be best to open our immediate family presents before we left. The night before we left, Cason and I made homemade pizzas. We ate pizza in the living room (a special occasion) and watched Ice Age Christmas. After we ate we opened our presents. Cason new exactly what to do and had been begging to open presents for a month now. We could have just given Molly and bunch of bows and she would have been perfectly happy! We gave Molly a piano that you can use to play games on the TV and Cason a garbage truck.

Also, here is a picture of the kiddo's with Santa. I was SHOCKED that neither one of them cried! We had it taken at Bass Pro. We hardly ever go there but they have the best Santa set up.

8 Months!

Molly is 8 months old! This 8 month old is developing quite the personality. She is happy and sweet but is also a little over dramatic at times (I don't know where she get's that from :)) Her fits can rival those of her 3 year old brother!

Molly is officially crawling! She pretty much tries to go wherever she pleases. We have another nickname for her, Baby Shark. When I take the clip out of her hair, her hair stands straight up and looks like a shark fin. Whenever she is crawling after us Toby, Cason and I start singing the Jaws song. She is also starting to try to pull up on things and she can clap her hands. Another thing worth mentioning is I can get her hair into a ponytail now. I don't do it as often as I want to because I feel like I am torturing her!

Thanksgiving 2011 (Molly's First Thanksgiving)

We had Thanksgiving with my family this year. It was a little different because we didn't have to travel anywhere since we all live close together now! We still spent most of the day together. It was a fun day!

Here is Molly showing off her cute turkey hair bow. She was also wearing a cute turkey shirt that my mom made her but I didn't do very well with the pictures.

Here are all the cousins TRYING their hardest to take a picture together. The first one is the best that I got, the second, you can see how hard it was!

Family Vacation to Sea World

Since we were having Thanksgving with my family this year and they all live in the Dallas area now, we decided it would be fun to take the kids(mainly Cason) to Sea World the first part of my Thanksgiving Break. Toby wanted to go in the summer but I told him there was no way I was going to haul a 4 month old baby around in the 115 degree humid heat. So I agreed to this time of year and I am so glad I did. The weather was perfect, the park was not crowded at all the first day and not too bad the second day, AND the park was decorated for Christmas and all the shows were Christmas themed. Cason was in Heaven!!

We got to San Antonio early afternoon on Sunday and the temp. was close to 90 degrees. So we ran to Target to get Cason a swim suit and let him swim in the awesome hotel pool. We stayed at the Hilton Hill Country Resort and Spa btw, and it was awesome!!! Only in south Texas can you swim in November!

On Monday and Tuesday we went to Sea World. The park was only open from 12-9 but that worked out perfectly for us. We got there about 1:30 both days, after the kids had naps, and left around 7. The hotel was just a 5 min. drive. Cason's favorite things to do at Sea World were; watch Shamu, watch the seals, and look at the sharks and penguins. We also fed the dolphins and seals but he was terrified of them because he said they had teeth and they would eat him. Silly boy! Molly did great! She demanded to be carried some of the time but really enjoyed looking at everything. There was so much to see!
