Molly Lynn Stunkard

Molly Lynn Stunkard is here! She was born on March 28, 2011 at 1:01 pm. She weighed 6 lbs. 14 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long.

I had a planned repeat c-section. I have to say that this c-section experience was MUCH easier than the last!

The morning that Molly was born we had to take Cason to see his pediatrician before we went to the hospital. He had a cold and I wanted to get it checked out before Molly came. It was a stressful morning but Toby and I made it to the hospital in time!

Here is our last picture as a family of 3!

A few hours later Molly arrives!

A Day Out With Thomas

Today we went to see Thomas the Tank Engine! Cason loves Thomas and pretty much anything trains or "choo-choo's" as he calls them. We went to the Grapevine Railroad to see him. It was a 25 min. train ride pulled by Thomas. There was music and dancing and Cason had a blast! It was kind of a last hurrah before Molly comes on Monday!

Here's Thomas!

The conductor punching Cason's ticket. Cason is usually pretty shy around people he doesn't know but he liked the train conductors!

This is one happy boy!

There were other things to do, including a petting zoo. Cason is petting the tiniest pig I have ever seen.

Showers!

The past couple of weeks I have had some amazing family and friends throw me and Molly showers!

The first one was hosted by my mom, sister, and friend Sally. It was a tea party complete with real china! Fancy! It was absolutely beautiful!

Lindsay, Christi, Amanda, Kelly, and Samantha

Michelle, Courtney, Danielle, and Renee

Connie and Tina

Virgina, Sally and Beth

Allison, me, and Melodie

Somehow I didn't get a picture with my mom or my Aunt Christy but they were there!

The second shower was given to me by my wonderful team at Dodd Elementary. They are so sneaky! They threw a shower for me without me knowing about it! It was a complete surprise. The whole school knew about it except for me. My mom, sister, and niece Camille came too!

My team: Renee, Michelle, Chasidy, Danielle and Courtney
Funny story, that day was "Wind suit Wednesday". That is why we are all wearing sweats and t-shirts. We don't normally dress like that although I wish we could!

Me and Camille

Somehow I didn't get a picture with my mom or sister this time.
My third shower was a brunch given by the girls in my small group at church. They took me to Corner Bakery. I didn't a get a picture of this either. Geeze, I am such a slacker! I had a wonderful time. Thanks Christi, Jennifer, Amanda, Natalie, and Angela!

First Trip to the Zoo!

In mid February Cason went to the zoo for the first time! It was a beautiful day and we had a great time! His favorite animal was probably the baboons. I can't wait to take him back some day!

Cason and Daddy looking at the elephants.

Cason got to feed the giraffes. He was so scared of them!

This was a much better distance from the giraffes for him.

Cason and mommy posing for a picture.

We also rode the mono-rail which Cason LOVED. If anyone asked him what he saw at the zoo he replied, "choo choo's" because he loved the "train" so much!

We ate lunch with the lions. Cason loved every minute of that too!

Christmas 2010

This Christmas we were gone for an entire 2 weeks! It was a long time to be gone but we had a blast.

We started our Christmas vacation in College Station. We went to look at Christmas lights several times. Cason was really into the lights this year. He is still asking to go see the lights!

Christmas Eve we went to my parents church. I was not thrilled about the idea of taking a 2 year old into a church service but I have to say it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. We only had a few embarrassing moments!l

The grandparents and their grandchildren and great grandchildren!

Christmas morning was insane! A good insane! Cason and Reid had so much fun opening presents. It was a lot different than last year.

Santa brought Cason and Reid a Little Tikes car!

Grandad and BeBe gave the boys a train table! Cason loves his!

A couple of days after Christmas the 3 of us made the long trek to Lubbock. It's an 8-9 hour car ride. I have to say that Cason did a pretty good job considering he didn't feel great. In Lubbock we had a blast with Granny and Papaw, aunts and uncles, and cousins. Our camera battery died so I didn't get a single picture of our Christmas in Lubbock. I am a horrible daughter-in-law!
To make up for it, here is a picture of the all the cousins at Thanksgiving in Lubbock.

Trip to the Fire Station

I know, I know, I am WAY behind! Since I am trapped indoors (because of icy conditions for 4 days) I am taking advantage and trying to catch up on all the things I am behind in.

Over the Christmas break Toby, Cason, and I went to College Station to spend time with my parents. My dad arranged for Cason to go to the fire station to see the fire trucks. He was really shy at first but came out of his shell once he got to "drive" fire truck.
